Note from the Artist: This design is another part of the “Critters of Jade Country” series. Only months after, while writing this, can I see the lesson every animal gifts us along our jade hunting journey…

Every year my brother Levi and I end up hauling more trash than jade (by volume) out of the river and surrounding forest. The animals watch on without judgment or attachment. They continue to give us a second chance and don't hold our ignorance against us. The red tailed hawk is a perfect example of integrity, courage, and forgiveness. They learn to coexist with humans and hopefully in exchange we will learn to protect them and their home with care and respect.

The Cord: This piece is strung on a polyester/nylon blend cord with hand-carved beads of the same jade, that slide to adjust cord length. The length range of this cord is about 15-30,” but this varies, so please call us if you need your cord to be specifically tailored to you at no extra charge.

Complimentary Cord Replacement: Our nylon cord is highly durable; built to withstand years of adventure! Should your cord need repair or replacement, you’re in luck! This pendant comes with a complimentary cord repair/replacement for life! You only pay for the shipping to get it to us - we will do the work and ship it back for free!
