“SeashelI” was carved by hand from a dark green Canadian Nephrite Jade from British Columbia’s Cassiar Mountain jade community. It is strung on brown nylon cord with matching hand-carved beads that slide to adjust cord length.
Note from the Artist: The design of a seashell is timeless. With its sleek spiral and feminine curves, I have always been attracted to its form, though its execution is difficult in regards to proportion. I enjoy the challenge of this form and I continue to be inspired by the ocean’s treasures.
