"Woven Hook" is an abstract jade hook, carved out of Canadian Jade from the Cassiar Mine. This piece is strung on black nylon cord with hand-carved beads of the same jade, that slide to adjust cord length.

Note from the Artist: As a child, my father taught me how to fish. He was taught by his father and his father had taught him, and so on and so forth. Fishing is a traditional pastime in my family. We are taught to honor the water and the fish, to be a steward of the land and sea so that we all may enjoy and feed our families for generations to come. This design is inspired by that tradition.
